Any one smoke one of these? I did some research, and they are pretty rare and $$$$$$$. I got two from a friend in payment for tying some trout flies.
1. How long should I let them sit in my humi before I smoke em?
2. What'll they taste like?:-)

Do you know how old they are??? Most Opus that I have smoked needed at least 3 years. Sorry if thats to long. They are good smokes.

The lost city isn't that old, is it? I agree that the Opus are better with age. Although the GOd of Fire freshies I've had have been excellent.

The GOF are a "milder" blend than the opus x. You should be able to enjoy them right away but a little humi time wont hurt.

The initial release of the lost city was in 2009. There have been other more recent releases too.

I have smoke a couple from the orignal release and would recommend that you age them for a while. I would say at least 1 to 2 years.

I smoke a God of Fire Serie B a couple of months ago and thought it could use some more age. I have yet to fire up any of my Lost Cities though. But the Don Carlos God of Fires have always been great. You could snag one of these from Cbid for less than retail. :-)

Thought that the Lost City was over-rated and overpriced. Maybe they just need more age. The GoF Serie B has 2 different wrappers depending on the size, so each one is a different cigar. I prefer the Gran Toro (with the CT Broadleaf wrapper) over the Robusto Gordo (with the Ecuadorian Sungrown wrapper), but both are terrific.

I have had a few Opus X and have been less than impressed. I've been told by numerous BOTLs that to truly appreciate an Opus X...let them sit 5 years. I have a BBMF Maduro Opus X that has been sitting for almost two and a half years...halfway there. :-)
