This is my first forum so I have a couple of things that have been bugging me. First, what do you call it when you have a part of a cigar that does not burn as fast as the rest of the cigar giving you a crooked burning end? Second, what do you call it when the cigar burns on the inside, but does not burn the wrapper? Thanks, Jason

Canoe or perhaps "uneven burn" and tunnel.

I call the second scenario you explained "tunneling".

A crooked burning cigar is called just that, if it gets really bad and starts travelling up one side of the cigar, that's canoing. When the wrapper goes out and the filling keeps burning, that's tunnelling.

I've also heard canoeing referred to as "running". Although I think the term canoe makes more sense.
