The cigar:
Don Pepin Garcia Serie JJ - Belicoso
Size: 5.7 x 52
Wrapper: Nicaraguan Corojo
Binder: Nicaragua
Filler: Nicaragua Corojo/Criollo
Price: $170 for a box of 24.
Pre-Light:
Barnyard and pepper. The pepper effect actually made me sneeze twice.
Cigar has some veins but it is well made. The draw is easy.

First Third:
First puffs are filled full of pepper.
Pleasant aroma and settled down with cedar and that classic pepper aftertaste.
This cigar provides plenty of smoke which I welcome with open arms.
Near the end of the first third, a sweetness stays long on the palate, leaving a slight sweet taste on the lips.

Second Third:
Pepper profile is going away. The sweetness remains but can't put my finger on it - vanilla maybe?
The Tripel beer I am drinking goes well with this cigar since the beer is fairly dry and cleans my palate quite well.
Very good tobacco flavors.

Last Third:
The cedar and sweetness are blending together which is giving me the impression of roasted marshmallow profile.
Smoke is getting more intense but I'm enjoying the flavor and the edge that it is providing. A perfect after dinner smoke.

Conclusion:
All the DPG JJ's I have were from the devil site (cigarbid) so I haven't paid full street price for them.
At $170 a box of 24, I think I would shy away from these but they are good smokes.
The young RASS I smoked the other night beats this hands down but since I picked up 4 fivers from the devil site for a very good price, these will do beautifully. A good smoke but not earth moving. The roasted marshmallow really surprised me and was very welcomed.
