Huge thanks to Paul Sonia of Hernandez Brothers (Manufacturers' Rep for Casa Fernandez, Carillo, My Father and Gran Habano) and Tim (The Podman) for putting together this outing. I was proud and gratified to be a part of the first tour and I enjoyed myself thoroughly.

Thanks also to most gracious hosts Ernie Carillo; Paul and Josefa at Fernandez; Jose at My Father; Peter and Steve Hernandez; and George Rico at his new and spectacularly nice Gran Habano shop, which opens officially Monday the 30th. George is going to have rollers at his Calle Ocho shop to allow you—yes, YOU—to create your own blend from George's fine tobaccos and see them rolled right before your eyes.

Thanks again, guys.

So...let's start the show-and-tell portion of our program. :-)

The tour began at the Hernandez Brothers' offices. And that meant a Fonseca Cubano Limitado Toro...and bloody Marys.

And that's all I could pull from the disc Manny gave me, for the time being. The rest were corrupted or unreadable, unfortunately. Better get on that, bro!

Yeah, you are! :-):

I'm missing some of the pics from CF and all of them from Carillo and Gran Habano. Hopefully Manny can sort it out and get them to me so I can post tomorrow.

The Hernandez Bros. Adventure:

That looked like a great tour. I have known Steve for almost 11 years and he is one of the nicest, biggest hearted dudes in the world.

We are blessed with such great people in this business.

Best,
JD
