I decided to quit hoarding my Padron's ( 80,40,45) and to my delight they came thru today. I have been sitting on this 40th for about 3-4 years and that Padron chocolate, sweetness and smooth flavor came thru. Perfect burn, great smoke and construction as the Padron's always do. Can't wait to smoke the 45 & 80 later this week.
:-)

I've had the same single 40th in my humidor for 6 years now. Must be wonderful now, but think I'll wait another 4.

Great cigar! I have not had one in a while, but you've whetted my appetite.

Yeah the 40th maduro is one of my favorites. Padrons do not need rest though IMO. One thing about Padrons is that you always get a perfect draw. Try the 45th if you have not had one, probably their best.

I agree about them not needing rest. Padron ages their tobacco so well that they taste just as good after a month of storage as they do after 5 years. I just got a box of the 85th Family Reserve yesterday. Get that distinctive Padron intoxicating smell as soon as you open up the box.

I smoked the 80th and the smoothness and richness came thru. This is by far the best some by Padron. I am smoking the 46th right now and this sucker is stronger then the others. Lots of more spice and Ligero. The flavors are different from the 40 & 80th. While they are smooth and rich the 46th is more in your face. I like that I can get different flavor profiles from similar cigars

I love that about Padrons too. They all have that similar rich flavor profile, but the slight differences across the different lines make each one a different experience.

Loved the 80th mad and just had the 85th (great out of box). Sitting on 40th nat and mad, don't know why I wait...delayed gratification and anticipation ;-)
