Jon has been all over Chicagoland the past few days. I get the feeling he likes exploring cities judging from some of the photos I've seen of his visits. I think he just happened to stop at The Alley recently.

50mm f/1.4 is a pretty fast lens well suited for low light conditions. She picked the right lens for the job

I used to do photography as a hobby and if I ever get back into it, I'll probably pick up a few fast primes too. Nice photos!
