This 5.5×47 cigar features a dry, firm medium brown wrapper with a slight red hue, small veins, an even crisp feel, double cap and an airy hay aroma. First light reveals a very loose draw with good smoke output. Medium body flavors of a smooth tobacco and slightly bitter finish. The first third shows much the same, adding a bit of spicy heat to the finish and leaving a hot oily mouthfeel. Overall flavors is still a smooth but slightly bitter tobacco. 40 minutes in just past the 1/2 way point, flavors have completely changed to a slightly sweet, creamy nut with a big long finish. Smoke output is excellent and on the thick side, coating the mouth very well with big flavor. The ash is pretty flaky, you have to watch it, and burn is a bit wonky but not needing any touchups. Ending at 55 min where it wen to a charcoal, smokey flavor with an inch remaining, it held the flavors from the last update. Video on the site
