Saudi Arabia says the sweet spot is around $60 a barrel for oil.

$1/gal is great, but what's the efficiency in comparison to diesel for that truck? I figure you're probably still ahead in the big picture, I'm just curious by how much.

It sounds great for commercial applications, but finding CNG fueling stations for the average driver is VERY difficult.

The truck holds the equivalent of 75 gallons liquid fuel and will use approx 40 gallons per day. Those are five CNG tanks stacked up behind the cab.
They have actually been using less than 40.

I would be kool with paying $2.50 a gal.
:-)
Right now, I can pump $105 & still only get 3/4 of a tank.... WTF!!!
:-)
With three V8's I take a big hit in the pocket. $$$$

About how much fuel would you burn in an equivalent diesel truck in similar service?
Alternate fuels / propulsion have always been kind of an interest but have no basis of comparison for these types of vehicles.

The diesels get an average of 5 to 7 mpg Adam.
The diesels typically take 30 to 40 gallons to fill up.
So whereas the mpg might be similar, the cost savings are immense.
We burn 30 to 40 thousand gallons per month of diesel fuel.

Thanks Dave, that was the info I was curious about.
