Has anybody heard anything about these cigars? I picked one up at my local B&M and the sign said they are brand new cigars.:-)

Just smoked my first AKA Hybrid last night. It was really good with some heavy tobacco notes and some aged wood flavors. the one thing i didn't really care for was the fact that the flavor didn't change until about 1.5 inches from the end. once the flavors changed though, there was a great dark chocolate flavor. right at the end, it had a dry hay flavor and started to dry my mouth out. all in all, i really liked it and i'm going to pick up some more and let them rest a little longer this time.

Never heard of a "hybrid" but it sounds like it is worth a try.

AKA=American Kick Ass
I sat down with one of the guys involved in this brand (don't remember how exactly...shame on me), Tom Poehler. Anyway, he's incredibly excited about the brand. Now I need to give him a call.

Hey Fordman. I'm Jay. Owner of AKA Cigars. Thanks for your kind words about the AKA. The AKA Hybrid is a " Real Hybrid " unlike others that have just used the term. The Wrapper is a Special Hybrid Wrapper grown for us and only for us by the Eiroa Family who owned Camacho. It comes from the Cross-Breeding of Cameroon and Camachos Original Corojo Seeds to make the plant which was named "Generoso" which means "Generous" the Binder is a Dominican Ligero and the Fillers are Honduran and Dominican. If your in Nebraska you can find them at Ted's Tobacco in Lincoln/ and S.G Roi and Nickleby's Both in Omaha. Anyone else Interested can find them at Seriouscigars.com T.G. We don't have a second cigar named "Flex Fuel" ? Sorry Bro !! Check us out on Face Book !! Search AKAcigars !! Thanks Guys Be Safe !!!!

Hey Jay, how about one called "Bio-Diesel" then? Or does Meier & Dutch have that one all locked up for AJ already? :-)

Thanks for the blend info on the cigar, the cameroon-corojo hybridization for the capa does sound interesting. When they make their way out here, I'll definitely give one a try.
