Another Thompson house blend, even though I have had nothing but horrible experiences with them. I had this one in my humidor and decided to light it, write a review and warn everybody about those horrid smokes. This Thompson Corojo Cubano is a 5x48 robusto.

The cigar has a ugly dry, wrinkly wrapper full of veins. The construction has some soft spots. The predraw is loose and tastes mild sweet.

I taste a nasty and musty coffee. The wrapper tears at the mouth piece. After half an inch I taste musty wood with a little bit of chocolate.

Just before I reach the middle of the cigar I taste a nasty spicy metallic flavor and cardboard. Half an inch later I also taste some nuts. After a third I taste spices and pepper with a nasty sour taste.

Thank god that this cigar was a quick smoke and it only lasted 40 horrible minutes. The draw is way too loose. I got a decent amount of medium thick smoke. The light gray ash is not firm at all. The cigar is medium flavored and medium bodied.

Would I buy this cigar again? HELL NO!!
