..... What, oh what, shall I do?
A little rearranging of the coolers, pulling out a cigar here and there. Choices I've ended up with for tonight are a Tat P2 from the Miami factory; a padron 3000 with at least 2 years age, an Ashton Heritage Puro Sol (at least 4 years old), and a fairly new HdM Excalibur 1066 (dark knight). The HdM dark knight is the only one I've not tried of the four. But I've been very pleased with the other (non-maduro) Excaliburs i've had in the past.
Choices, choices, choices.....

hmmmm. Went with the Ashton. Kinda harsh for first half. Thinking it was a little dry. As a result, I've adjusted the moisture levels in the coolers. Still have other three, thinking the Padron will be next. Maybe later tonight?

On a side note, Cliff, I still pick around that Mike Ditka Superbowl cigar you gifted me years ago. I don't have the heart to smoke it, it's so unique.

That was a Graycliff, wasn't it? Has forgotten about those!!!
I ended up smoking the Padron the following day, and then smoked the Dark Knight afterwards that afternoon. The Padron was ok, again, not as good as I expected, leading me to think maybe the coolers were below the ideal humidity level. The Dark Knight was good, but to me, didn't satisfy me as much as the plain Excalibur. But, as this was only the first I've had, and these boxes have, til now, been sitting outside of any coolers, again, humidity may have been less than desirable. Water added to all the coolers and all the HdM crate boxes, so I'll give these all a retry in a month or more. The results of not spending much time with my collection over the winter. Still have the Tat to go.
