All Cigar Discussion>Smoking friendly places in San Antonio, TX?
icantbejon 09:15 AM 03-02-2011
I'm headed down to San Antonio for the evening and looking for a place to hang my hat and smoke a cigar. Any recommendations? I found Club Smoke online, but a friend told me that he thinks TX is 100% smoke free now, to include the cigar shops. Can anyone confirm/deny this?

Thanks

I know TX is NOT 100% smoke free...although I can't remember what San Antonio's rules are as of late.

I live in the DFW area, and for instance Dallas is smoke free, but Fort Worth still allows it (for now).

This is absurd!
The smoke-zealots are winning. . .
and they will continue to win if we don't speak up!

Join the CRA and be a part of the solution!

Now, back to San Antonio, TX!

Here's a couple great cigar lounges:
C.I.G.A.R. (call fur directions) 210-404-2626
Club Humidor (call for locations) 210-558-7700

I don't know. I am as much against people wagging their fingers in my face as the next guy, moreso even, but
I think that people's right not to breathe my smoke is worthy of my respect. HOWEVER, places that allow
cigarettes and not cigars hear my complaints and feel the minimal sting of my boycott, i.e. the Blue Monkey
in Memphis as well as the now-defunct Calhoun's. (SUCKERS) Additionally, I find the sudden inch-mile
syndrome of banning smoking in outdoor spaces to be FAR too far. But indoors, I am not so deluded yet as to
believe that cigar smoke is not obnoxious. I do not begrudge an establishment their right to keep all smoke out.
