Came to my hometown from Atlanta GA for a funeral. Looking for a place to buy a cigar. It doesn't have to be a full shop, I would even settle for a discount tobacco store if they sold cigars and had a maintained humidor?

I know JRs is alittle ways away in smithfield... Does anyone know of something closer?

I was raised in Smithfield - currently in Californy. Small world. Only places I've heard of are in Raleigh. Hope somebody else has better news.

Just googled, theres a Tobacco Road Outlet in Goldsboro, I've been to the one in Fuquay and it had a decent selection, nothing rare or out of the ordinary, but the basics can be found there.

There is Blackbeard Cigar in Greenville and Smoker's Palace in Wilson. Probably no closer than JR though. If you can find a Smoker Friendly nearby, they usually have a small limited selection (HdM, Padron thousands, Macanudos).

I grew up in Nahunta, about 15 miles north of Goldsboro. I always went to JRs in Smithfield. It is huge and well worth the trip. As for Goldsboro, there once was a cigar/cigarette shop on the corner of Ash and Cashwell (beside the old Hollywood Video and Jersey Mike's). I don't know if it still there though.
