That's cool! The bald eagle has certainly made a comeback. I see them regularly here in South Jersey, whereas growing up, I can't remember ever seeing them.

We are in the hunting and early flight path for a nesting pair from the Merrimac River area (about 20 miles from my house). Yesterday I saw 2 osprey circling the Saugus River. Hopefully they will make the same sort of recovery that the Bald Eagle and Peregrine Falcon have made. Pictures will be posted when I finish the 250 frame magazine that is in my camera and have the film developed. Beautiful birds!

I work at a plant that adjoins the banks of the Tennessee River, and I get to see some most days of the week, this time of year. Never get tired of catching site of one.

we have quite a few up here in western washington, its pretty cool to see them sitting up in a tree.
