Try doing it while living in another state than where your buying a house. Good luck brother!

Enjoy the process, although stressful, buying a home is one of the most exciting things. When we bought our first home last year, I used my Veteran's Loan and they have a 45 day waiting period instead of the usual 30 day. It was torture but in a good way. I would drive by it every week just to make sure that it was still there!!
:-)
I am so happy for you, it's a great looking home. I hope that your offer is accepted and you can start the wonderful journey that is home ownership!!
Best wishes for you Drew.

Good luck, it is a great time to buy, especially if you aren't selling another house. I have been in my house for just over a year, short sales/forclosues can be rough, but the price at the end is usually worth all the heartache.

Good luck! Let me know if you have any questions or thoughts! I have been in the business for sometime now and I can understand how frustrating it can be!

Drew, so you're moving to the GV area? I thought you were a suburbanite! Good luck and I'm sure everything will go fine... like Hugh said... visit us Sat and have a beer to take off some stress.

I would love to come down Saturday but we have a christmas party and want to look at some other houses in case this falls through.

That house looks very cool, hardly a fixer-upper in my eyes. Best of luck with that process or any other home you may find.
