Accessory Discussion / Reviews>Vinotemp repair..

During my move early this year, I did not secure my Vinotemp drawers enough, so when I went to pick it up, the trays slid forward and cracked the inner glass. It still holds temp and RH, but it does look pretty ugly.

Does anyone have or know anyone with a Vinotemp door they can part out? This is the 28bottle Vinotemp that everyone picked up to convert to a humidor with custom trays and shelves made by other BOTLs on here.

TIA in advance!

You can probably buy replacement glass from a glazier (I think that is the proper term). It might cost more than the cost of a new vino though. If you can remove the door and take it in, it might be significantly cheaper as they won't have to come out to do the job :-)

home depo has 52 bottel ones on sale for 199 right now. The glass for one that size will cost you around $100. YOu might try to look on craigslist.org and see what you can find they are on there sometimes.

I would think that Vinotemp would sell you the entire door assy

You could try Vinotemp, but it may be cheaper to look for another one or live with it. I had to order a new glass turn table that I dropped for the microwave....$65 plus shipping and only paid 275 less than a year ago. You might also try checking the dump on Saturdays, I seen some by the old fridges before a few times.
