I'm working on buying some
cigar gifts for a buddy of mine and just wondered what you all have liked getting the most. He's got a ton of cigars so I think I'm going to skip over the obvious and maybe get him a cool lighter, case, or other accessory. Any opinions are welcome. Also, I've got a coupon I'm going to use at the store I linked above, so if you see anything cool there let me know.

Coupon or not, I would avoid Thompson's like the plague.
:-)
My advice is to get him a nice cutter. A Palio to be exact.

A nice cutter: Palio or Xikar
A nice lighter: Blazer, Xikar, or my kids got me a Colibri Triple Torch (engraved)
A three-finger case: http://www.mountainhomeleather.com/Texcigar.htm
A gift certificate to his favorite Cigar Store
A nice bottle of something he likes with a cigar:
-Single Malt Scotch (Glenlivet 12 year)
-A nice sipping Rum (Zaya or Ron Zacapa 23 Anos)
-or a bottle of Port (I like "Six Grapes").
Hope these help! I would appreciate any of these - hope your friend does. :-)

I just got the NUb gift pack from the contest I won a few days ago, and its pretty freakin nice. Its got a white leather 3 nub case, punch, and all metal cutter.
MSRP is $60, but IMO, worth it. Sorry about picture size, photobucket droid app doesn't allow editing

Palio cutter. Not super expensive, and is the best cutter on the market. If he doesn't lose it, will last forever. I've had mine for 3 years, still cuts like butter.

I agree with the Palio and nice bottle ideas. Ron zacapa 23 year is amazing. I've gone through 6-7 bottles of that stuff

A Palio, or a nice lighter might make a great gift because they wont break the bank, but might not be something your friend would splurge on.
If your friend already has a nice cutter or lighter there are many other great suggestions above.

A Palio is a gift that keeps giving because of its surperb quality. If you want to get a good lighter at a reasonable price, check out Jetline lighters on amazon; $20-$30 gets you a nice one with a case and a lifetime warranty.

Find out if the guy has a subscription to cigar aficionado. If not. There is your unique gift.
Some people may not necessarily like cigar aficionado because its a little high falutin' but no cigar enthusiast would dare say they've never read it.

Hey Guys,
Thanks for the tips/info/advice. I think I'm going to combo a few things together for him...although that nub git pack does look nice.
thanks again and if you come up with anything else brilliant I've still got a weak or two.
