Thats a very nice bike. The components are top notch. If you do get a Tri or TT bike I love The Specialized Transition Pro it is a very good bike I have had one for about 2 years. Congrats on finishing the Tri they are very difficult.

EXCELLENT and CONGRATS... I caught the tri bug 2 years ago, though still can't commit to doing an Olympic.... Love sprints...
It is nice to have a race signed up, forces me to get into the pool and run... I bike regardless, but I have to have a reason to run and swim....

I once walked to the town pool, then stole a bike to get home, does that count?

LOL It counts about as much as a drinking, smoking, and eating tri does.

I've found that as I improved on the swim from last year to this year, EVERYTHING got better. My aerobic capacity changed a lot. As soon as I'm done with the base building program I'm on (running), I'll be back in the pool regularly again. Just knowing my goal is a half iron is enough to keep me in the pool in the "offseason".

Who can design it for us? I'm serious! That would be AWESOME. I would totally travel for a herf tri (but not likely to Oki, LOL)!!! Run the race, and then have a big herf afterwards.
:-) We can custom design socks on sockguy.com

Just finished the Insanity program and I can tell a very very big difference in cardio. Also set a 5k PR last weekend, which was impressive since I have not run in about 5 months. Hoping to start a Marathon training program in January.
Good luck with that, brother!! I hope it all heals up nicely for you so you can train all you want!

Congrats brother. I would love to do some triathlons but swimming is not my thing... I've had a rotator cuff injury that bothers me anytime I swing my arm in motion. I've ran a couple marathons along with many other smaller runs and I enjoy biking so I only wish the swimming would work for me... oh well, maybe some day.
