Ok....probably a real noob question...or just plain dumb on my part. But I had a cigar the other day that I rather enjoyed......problem is I have no idea what brand.......and I'm not even sure were I got it....I know I did not buy it so someone had to give it to me...perhaps my Dad but it could have been someone else I'd had it sitting in a humi for months before I tryed it....it was banded though......this is what was on the band
Premium Dominican
V.S.O.P
Hecho A Mano
Vintage Reserve
If it was from my Dad it can't be a high dollar cigar as he does not spend big bucks on his smokes. But I was wondering if this rang a bell with anyone.

That's what happens when you're at work and customers expect to be waited on.

Some people would equate their customer service to harrasment. No lie.

Yes. They are that bad. Order from them once and you will get their catalogs
forever, and they will have people call you with "deals". Their cigars (barring a few) suck, and they will ship you broken or dry cigars. And if all of that wasn't bad enough, they will "share" your information with the florida tax board, which will helpfully pass on that information to your state of residence, who will send you "gotcha" letters for back "unpaid taxes", both sales and cigar.
Stay far away.

Agreed with you guys; I ordered from Thompson once and was completely unimpressed. The humidor I received had a messed up hinge the didn't close completely and the cigars were dried out. I tried going through the company to get the humidor replaced, but got the runaround. I am, however, a big fan of Cigars International and Cigar.com. I usually do most of my shopping from them.
