The last line is Shark Bites. Who do you sue for a shark biting you? Can the shark counter sue because the plaintiff was actually trespassing in his dining room?

Just wondering...

I guess the point I was making was how ridiculous can things get. In the past month or so, there have been around 4 or 5 shark bites around here. All of a sudden you start seeing the ambulance chasers jumping on the bandwagon. If someone causes you injury, that's one thing. But to sue due to acts of nature and circumstances you place yourself in...really.

OK, I'll get off my soapbox and shut up now. I just thought it was, sad/ridicules/funny/annoying/all of the above.

:-):-):-)

There are a few old lawyer jokes about why an attorney can swim unscathed through shark infested waters - the punch line is always "professional courtesy"

Gotcha. We're not real smart, Steve. Don't make us have to think.

Got bitten by a shark? Sue the city because they should have signs posted on the beach as to the dangers of swimming in the ocean. Duh! :-):-)
