I asked the provider of this "blind sampler" the same question:

"The unbanded cigar is a La Aurora custom rolled cigar. They are fantastic cigars and are about 3 years old and ready to be smoked. From what I remember they are a corojo wrapper."

Thanks Gents for the replies - as a newb it's like X-mas whenever a package arrives.
In 1999 I rec'd a box of Padrons as an engagment gift from the brother of my fiancee. I smoked some, and handed out the rest as I had not a clue about cigars. I enjoyed them but was not "hooked". Over the years, I would enjoy a smoke with my BIL (his) but never had an interest to get "involved". I'd send him samplers from time to time to try and make up for his generosity. About a month ago I decided I wanted my own humi and cigars .... fuk me.... I had no idea where this was going to take me! I'm a hoarder by nature and this is not helping the cause. My Treasure Dome (250 ct) has room for about 30 more sticks and I only smoke about 3 a week (hoader remember). So now, I have all these wonderful cigars aging .... yep, that's what I now call it!!!!!!!!!!! Now, I'm at multiple Targets twice a week trying to find the absolute best deal on a Vino so I can hoard - I MEAN age more cigars. I love me some cigars to look at I guess ............

PS. I will not bear my soul again ..........:-)

Seriously nice pile of sticks there.

You know ... I have one of those Aurora customs also (same source from a while back). I haven't yet smoked it because of the fear that I'll love it. *sigh* - a self made dilema.

Well - lotta beautiful cigars there. Enjoy. :-)

Funny you say that - I picked it up last night, took I nice long wiff and promptly put it back for the same reason. I want it to be good but not too good cause I'll never have another.
