I saw this last night online. I'm not sold that this is real. If you look at the after picture there is no damage to the starboard side of the boat where the whale hit, just mast was down. You would think that the side of the boat would be wrecked if something that big hit a fiberglass boat?

I think it was the NY Post article that had a quote stating that the boad was not fiberglass, but steel.

Even still, There would have been some denting or something, especially on the cabin. It was a 40 ton whale. I don't know, just smells a little fishy (no pun intended, really!!!)
