I am sad as I like all 3 of these players, but I am not mad because I realize the Hawks needed to make some moves to keep their core players...and will still need to make more. Repeats ain't easy in the NHL anymore.

That being said....I just bought a Byfuglien Hawks jersey. :-)

I got a text earlier and thought it was a joke. I knew changes were coming, and had to come because of salary issues. I didn't expect to see Sopel go.

As much as I like Sopel, I knew he was gone....too big a salary hit for a #5 d-man.
