I just received a flyer in the mail for a store by me Tuesday Mourning that has the 21-bottle Vinotemp Dual Zone cooler for $199.99. Is it worth it & how much will the mods cost me? Thanks

Does it get hot where you live? If so I'd say it is worth it. You don't really have to "mod" it. I used to have one and had shelves and drawers along with beads. I purchased my shelves/drawers from a member on here (ChasDen). I'd say when I modded it I spent $100-$150.
On a side note I now have a marine cooler that does the job just fine with boxes and loose cigars in it. Much cheaper and much easier to control RH imo.

You can probably find a 28-bottle Edgestar for the same price....so more room for the same amount of money.

And how many shoes and purses does your wife have???
Case closed...
:-):-)
A marine cooler is a good idea...
I have a smaller wine cooler but for sheer economics versus capacity, the cooler is good value.

Get the fridge, you wont be sorry. I had three small humidors, bought the Edgestar 28 (pd $130,new and shipped) and then got some beads and drawers (still waiting for the drawers). Once I get it all set up, I will empty the three into one, fill the Edgestar up for longer term seasoning and use the smaller humi's for weekly sticks. Yeah, I have also fallen pray to the "never have too much storage" bug.

Hope this is alright to post, but here is one that I am guessing is similar, but from Edgestar and it is 50$ cheaper with free shipping

Nothing is wrong with a cooler though. I just upgraded to wineador for space from a small cooler, so if you don't want to bite that bullet then make sure you get a BIG cooler.
