It sure looks like it would be alot of fun. :-)
I have seen some of this weekends pictures up on the website, I would like to go someday. A short vacation devoted to cigars would really be fun to do. I think that in addition to the cigars you get at the show with your ticket purchase and the freebie stuff (Not really free, you had to pay to get in..but you know)
I would bet that they have some pretty good door buster box deals.

If anybody went, I would really like to hear about it and put up some pics if you took any!!

I was there. It was a great time. This was my fifth year. They gave away a jeep and a four wheeler, also a ton of other prizes. Lots of cigars, free beer and wine samples and some pretty good barbeque. My buddy took all the pictures so I have to wait for him to email them to me.

Went for the 4th time this year. Lots of Cigars but, had more fun at the Rocky Patel party the night before. After the mad dash of going around and getting your smokes from the Vendors/Cigar Makers, I pretty much thought it was lame. Like I said, this is my 4th time so, Nothings new anymore. Not sure if I'll be going through all the trouble next yr.

Thats me on the right.

My fourth this year. It was a good time, although the cigars we received were far from great overall. If it wasn't so close for me (30 minutes), I don't know if I would continue to go. Although it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be with the extra 500 people.

I think its a pretty good deal just for the cigars IF you live close by.

The big laugh of the event for me was when a buddy won a box of Gurkhas during the raffle. They were called Triads and it was announced that they were worth $1000 dollars or $50 bucks a stick. This guy that won is not a big cigar smoker so of course he was shocked. The same company that has CI specials with $2 cigars but also sells a $50 Cigar. What a joke!

Those Triads look pretty cool. I wonder how they taste. Congrats to your buddy, he got a nice prize it looks like.

I am not sure any Gurkha is worth $2.00/stick.

The box's are pretty cool but it was made of a molded resin. For $1000 a box the box should be hand carved out of some exotic wood.I took a look at the cigars inside. They look ok but $50 a stick? I told him if someone offered him $500 for the box at the fest tell em sold!

I was going to go with a fellow inmate, but we couldn't get tickets the morning the sale started. We put in a bid, but I didn't really want to spend over $150 a ticket so we were kicked off that list pretty quickly.

Oh well...maybe next year.
