I bought a 5-pak of these on the Jam a few weeks back and just had to try one with minimum rest on this beautiful Ozark Mountain Day. Sorry no real time pictures.
Master Blends 3 is the third offering in a series of limited artisanal blends. Liga Maestra is specifically blended to deliver the richest characteristics of Nicaraguan ligero fillers and Broadleaf sun-grown wrappers.
I am more of an old cigar smoker than a great reviewer but I found the Oliva description (shown above) pretty accurate. It is an interesting cigar.
MSRP - $248/box of 20
Jam Deal - 5/$27.50 Free Shipping - Wow what a steal and they lasted about 10 minutes.
6 x 52 Torpedo - Box Press
Wrapper: Broadleaf Sun-Grown Binder: Nicaraguan Habano
Filler: Nicaraguan Ligero
Construction - Great, one small vein was it. Held a good ash and produced a lot of smoke
Appearance - Beautiful, sleek and oily finish
Burn - not as good as expected had to even up several times (the only weak part of the cigar)
Draw - Just Right
Taste - Very smooth for a Ligero cigar with a little pepper and mild leather and a touch of sweet about half way. Last 1/3 was pretty strong but not overwhelming.
These are very nice cigars with a beautiful band and finish.
I look forward to trying another one in a month or two.

I just found this little bit on CI and thought I would add a more expert flavor profile:
:-)
MB3 received an oustanding, ’92’ rating. Here’s what the experts had to say:
"A pressed cigar with an oily, chocolate brown wrapper. A good draw imparts a good balance of earthy, creamy flavors. The spicy finish hints of brown sugar."
