Hey fellow inmates!
Well I have just about the greatest summer job I could possibly ask for at this point. I am a sales person at our local cigar shop in town called Cigar Studio. I am so excited to actually getting further into the cigar culture and industry. Just needed to express my joy where people can actually appreciate it.
As for my new discovery... it has been a long few days for me. Exam time is soon approaching and I need to keep my grades up so I can transfer to the school I'd rather be going to. I have been training hard so that I can make CIS hockey when the fall semester starts, and thus I was in need of some serious unwinding time. (Btw, for the Americans here who don't know. CIS is like NCAA in the states. For hockey, it's probably almost as good as NCAA. You can still go pro in the NHL or Euro leagues if you perform well enough.) I haven't had a time to sit down and smoke in a while so I decided to reach into my humidor and grab something. I ended up selecting the
Alec Bradley Tempus Robusto. I expected it to be a decent smoke and after eating a heavy dinner, I thought it would be substantial to compliment my meal. The wrapper was slightly oily and the dark brown color almost had a red flare to it.
After lighting up, I was pleasantly surprised to see that this cigar far succeeded my expectations. From the first draw all the way to the nub flavors were consistent, as was the ash and draw. It only ashed once at halfway. Seriously, if you haven't tried a Tempus, go out and get one. I promise you will not be disappointed. I literally came in just now to come share this with everyone. That's how impressed I was.
Anyways, back to the books...
:-)
