I don't usually do this, but I want to give a quick shout out to Emerson's in Virginia Beach.

I have been travelling on business, and wound up staying the tidewater region for the first time in years. A quick search revealed that there was an Emerson's Cigars location only two blocks from the hotel (and I did not even know this when I made my reservation!). I walked over the last two nights, and the folks there could not have been nicer.

They have a nice lounge, a well-stocked humidor, and some great customers. I met some great BOTL's, and enjoyed two nights of conversation with people who were strangers when I got to town, but friends by the end of each night.

It's places like this that make this hobby great. A home away from home, even if only for a couple of days. I know I'll be back to visit again in the future.
