I actually prefer the "Would you like one" and if they say "No" I just light up.

If I use your approach and they say "Yes I mind" they will be very upset that I continue to light up anyways :-)

I'm sure you have common sense..just use it.

Hell no... Not to be an arse, but I generally light up before the first tee so if anyone has a problem, they can ride in the other cart. If you're walking, I definitely wouldn't ask. Cigar smoking on the golf course has never been an issue (unless you play public courses in CA, from what I've read even M.J. can't light up). Good luck, just use your common sense and have fun. :-)

Well I am guessing since I am a one man team she is going to pair me with another one man team. So I figured we would be in one cart.

You worry too much about offending people...keep in mind someone will always find a reason to get offended if they try.

Quail isn't too painful.. I think it's like 17 for 9 holes, depending if I walk it. I am walking tomorrow though.. Unless I get paired.

lol... you are a whippersnapper.
I never walk, it's too hard to carry a humi and a case of beer along with the clubs.

Unless Bao is carrying my clubs, then I'll walk! :-)
Thanks Again!

Yeah, well I think I will just take a zip-loc and a humi care bag tomorrow to hold my sticks, and as for the drink, too young to legally have beer.. Well sticks too for that matter. Shh..

Well, I shot an 80. That is 8 over par for the course. Not too shabby for my first time out.

This is what I use as well. Keeps the gar from blowing away if left in the cart.

They actually had a little tray that had fingers coming out of the top, i don't know what they are used for, golf balls maybe, but they held a gar perfectly.

Whoa, whoa, whoa.....you shot an 80 the first time you played? You sure about that? I mean, I was born at night, but not last night.

I think he meant first time out for the season. Having grown up in Indiana, I can assure you we can't play play golf year round, like you lucky bastages in Florida.:-)

I use one of these clips. Works great. In a pinch I have no problem putting my cigar on the grass but they use so much pesticide and other chemicals on golf courses I prefer not to if I don't have to. If that makes me less of a man I guess I'll have to turn in my man card. :-)

I usually take 4-6 cigars with me and usually smoke 1-2 a nine depending on how fast the round is moving. My weekly golf league is plagued with slow play so I have on occasion been on my third cigar at the end of nine. I'm not a particularly fast smoker. Sad I know.
