Very solid roll on this cigar. Light aroma of tobacco and cedar. Sweet tobacco aroma on the foot. Easy prelight draw of rich sweet tobacco.
First third
Initial flavors of coffee and clove spices with a mocha aftertaste. Peppery nose exhale. The cigar quickly smooths out to a creamy mouth feel with flavors of licorice and tobacco. Great draw with a perfect amount of smoke. Some hints of sweetness on the lips.
Second third
A straight tobacco flavor takes over. Very full tasting with a great deal of smoothness. Very enjoyable flavor. Medium peppery spice on the nose exhale. All around smooth and delicious with deel and full flavors. Good amount of spiciness coming through on the aftertaste.
Last third
Continuing with very deep flavors. Tobacco, mocha, and caramel are all present. The flavor is so full that it is almost numbing on the palate. Finishes very full and creamy with a heavy aftertaste of espresso and mocha.
Conclusion
This was a very enjoyable smoke. The strength builds throughout and finishes very full in body. The flavors were also very dynamic throughout the smoke. Recommended!

Brett...if you don't have any luck finding one...let me know. I can pick one up for you. I have a place close by that usually has them and doesn't rip people off...right at MSRP.

Nice review and an even nicer price on that OPUS. If you can find more at that $, buy em all!

I think that MSRP is a bit old and low...but I know I didn't pay anymore than $14 a stick.

Still not bad, my B & M has them at $19.99 and that's cheap from what I am seeing elsewhere lately.

Yeah I'm not complaining! Last time I was there I grabbed the last one and they even threw in the sweet Opux box.

Great review, Luke, and really nice pics. I've never had this one.
I'm curious: did this one have any age on it?

Not so much age...maybe around 6-9 months.
