All Cigar Discussion>Upgraded my IQAir Health Pro to filter smoke

I enjoy smoking in my man cave, especially while watching football or watching a movie with my wife. I've wanted to do more of it, but needed something to clean the air. I use a two-fan window fan on exhaust, but wanted something that actually purifies the air. (my room is about 320 sq ft)

I've had the IQ Air Health Pro for years and it does a good job of filtering dust and pet hair out of the air, but it didn't do anything for the cigar smoke. I looked at installing smoke systems, but they seem to start at $1,000 or more. Just before Christmas I updated my air purifier with a gas/charcoal filter for $99. This upgraded the unit to the IQ Air Health Pro Plus model. After using it for a couple of weeks, I am really happy with it. Although not designed specifically for cigar smoke, it does an admirable job for just $100 (assuming you already have the IQAir Health Pro unit). The replacement filters are expensive, but they only need to be replaced every couple of years.
