At the end of December each year, I get my free credit reports from the 3 big credit bureaus. Fortunately, I've never had identity theft or other problems that plague some.

Well worth getting a copy and hanging on to them for comparisons each year, in my opinion.

I've been using this website for about 5 years. In my case, I pull one report every 4 months, and compare the results. Since there are 3 major credit reporting agengies, you can get a pretty good idea of what's going on with your credit. Most the the agengies track the same data, so I can check each agency once a year.
