seeing lists like these reminds me that there are still lots of great cigars I need to try. I only wish we could see who made the top ten!

I've never had the J. Fuego Origen. I need to stop in and pick one up now. :-)

I'm not a huge a Pepin fan, and some may not agree with La Riqueza taking the #2 spot, but in this case I have to agree that the Riquezas were some of the best Pepins of the year.

Most of those are pretty good choices, except for the Xikar HC. That cigar is a total snoozefest. Bundle cigar at best.

I always get a kick out of these lists. Obviously opinion based, and a great generator of conversation. They are always fun lists for checking if there are any cigars out there people really like and you have not tried yet.

The fun can drain out of them when people get upset when "their" favorite isn't listed. Glad that doesn't happen at the Asylum! Good to see.

P.S. I am always a sucker for something that has "Top 25" in the title. (inside joke :-))

The problem with lists like these is that they are only taking into account the cigars that have been smoked...

For example, for the list I have on my site, I have quite a few great sticks, but I don't have any of Dion's sticks, because I have not reviewed any of his cigars as of yet...That will be rectified, of course, but my point is that there are so many cigars, and you only have so much time...

To illustrate further, I guarantee my #1 Cigar of the Year will not even be on CA's Top 25 list...
