Or weather started going wacky earlier this month and of course that meant my sinuses started clogging up. I know I'm not dealing with the type of cold and snow that our northern brothers and sisters do, but when you have three or four days of temperatures dropping into the 30s and 40s and then bouncing back up into even the 60s, and what seems to be a constant rain it makes things bad on the sinus.

I haven't been able to enjoy a cigar (good or bad) in almost three weeks! This makes my stress level goes up even higher than holiday shopping!

If the weather would just stay the same for more than 4 or 5 days maybe I could get over this crud.

You could always try sinus irrigation. The idea is to simply wash out the allergen via a salt water solution. The thought of shooting water up one nostril and down the other was rather gross when I first considered it, but I was amazed at how well it works.

I used to have a lot of sinus trouble between summer & fall and winter & spring as the pollen was out in full force. Since I've started using a Sinus Rinse Kit I've been able to ditch the prescription allergy meds I was taking and I'm left with mild allergy symptoms.

Its not a given that it will get you back in cigar smoking shape, but it might be worth a shot.

Nasal irrigation is the way to go! I used to have really bad sinus issues, especially after smoking cigars. Then I started flushing out my sinuses with warm water and this solution using a water pick (the thing that you're supposed to use for your teeth). You could also use a Neti Pot. Either way, it helps to rinse out all the bad stuff that can accumulate in your sinuses. :-)

I love my Neti Pot. Maybe it's just my poor/pour technique, but I can only do it right before a shower since it tends to run down my chest. Yuck, but man can I breath easy after a good nasal douche.

I have a nasal rinse device that is a bottle with a small bellows on it . My allergies are now mild at most compared to what they used to be . I use it in the shower so no worries about a mess .

I've never heard of this! It sounds a little gross but it sounds like it's worth trying.

Thanks

I went from lots of allergy related sinus issues to hardly ever having any issues just by using one of these daily.

Much more effective than the Neti Pot IMO.

My yearly consumption of Zyrtec is down to about 10 days a year now due to this. Only reason I take the meds now is just for my eyes on days with excessively high pollen counts.

The Costco warehouses out here sell a pack with two bottles and 250 saline packets for $15.99 (Making it cheaper to buy a new jumbo kit rather than just buy refil packets at $11 for 100).
