I saw an article on the Yahoo sports page saying that Chase Utley was robbed once again - of a deserved Gold Glove. Well, maybe - can't say I've seen him enough to know, one way or the other. But I really don't wanna hear it. Talk about robbed, Tino Martinez was definitely pillaged 10 years ago, when Rafael Palmiero won it after playing only 28 games at first base.
There's no crying in baseball.

His "lapse" in the playoffs cost him this Gold Glove...IMHO.

Surprising to say the least. Hudson is an excellent defender, but he did lose his job to Belliard at the end of the season. At least Utley went home with the Silver Slugger award.

All post-season awards are voted on before the postseason begins.

Utley should have won. The voters are lazy plain and simple. Utley is the best defensive 2nd baseman in the NL.
Who truely got robbed IMO, is Troy Tulowitzki. I don't see how he didn't win this year and Jimmy Rollins does. Maybe because Rollins lead the NL in fielding percentage? That doesn't give the full story.
