All Cigar Discussion>Parameters of Altadis NC Edicion Limitadas?

Altadis sells some NC product with the same EL bands you'll find on the CC EL product. Does anyone know if these Altadis NC ELs are subject to the same production requirements (ie. fermentation/aging minimums) as the CC ELs?

There is absolutely no relation between CC and NC smokes.

Perhaps not the smokes, themselves, but the LE program was started as a part of the joint-venture/partnership between Altadis and Habanos, SA. Therefor, it would follow that Altadis' other product, identically labelled, might use the same (or similar) guidelines.

Can LEs be different, and even better? Of course they CAN - the possibility exists. Is the whold LE thing a marketing gimmick, whether they be NC or CC? Well, duh.

As for the Doc's specific question, I'm not much help. The only "Edicion Limitadas" I've had more than a passing acquaintance with have been the LE version of the JR Alternates - which do fall under the Altadis umbrella. They are much better than the standard JR Alternates - yet that might not be saying one hell of a lot.
