I was driving home yesterday from a wonderful dinner with my wife, I was smoking a Cusano rare Cameroon and a guy on a motorcycle pulled up beside me, asked me to roll down my window. I had no idea what he wanted, then he asked me what was I smoking? He said he had smelled it five cars back and really like the smell. I told him what it was and if I had had an extra would have offered it to him. None the less he thanked me and drove off. I had no idea a cigar could be smelled that far behind me. Really Strange.

Oh yea, sort of. I have driven behind pipe smokers and enjoyed the aroma that I was getting as we went down the road.

Not exactly but this past weekend someone in front of me was smoking a cigarette and I could smell it on my motorcylce.
:-)
I have also smelled people lighting matches while driving on the interstate.
A cigar would be a nice change.

I enjoy coming across a cigar smell when out on my motorcycle. I'm amazed at how far back you can smell the aroma compared to cigarettes.

I smoke in my MINI Cooper Convertible all the time and I get frequently comments (mostly friendly but sometimes unfriendly). When driving with our MINI car club people following me often joke "one puff for left turns, two puffs for right turns, and three puffs, oh sh*t!).

I ride a motorcycle everyday, and yes you can smell cigar smoke, and well.... other pungent aromas from very far behind.
In california you can split lanes and I always had advance warning to watch for "impaired" drivers up ahead. Some folks saw those bumper to bumper commutes as "party time" . I would sometimes be behind a motorcycle cop, and when I got a whiff , so did he, and it was interesting watching him look left, then right and then finally point someone over to the median. busted!
