This 5.1×50 maduro stick offers the OpusX blend inside it’s dark chocolate brown wrapper. The pack is very firm and dense, typical of a Fuente. The first draws provided a big pepper kick, medium-full body and rich flavors of coffee, earth and wood on the long finish. The finish stayed long throughout, changing to leather and nuts with the pepper coming and going but never as strong as the very start. Overall flavors transitioned a few times to leather, wood, nuts, hints of caramel – always staying very rich smooth and satisfying. The burn was very good, draw was excellent and the ash stayed straight and tight all the way down. http://cigarobsession.com/2009/08/24...ente-anejo-50/

FWIW, the Anejo's are a combo blend of the Opus, Don Carlos and the Hemingway lines.

Well, unless you're the roller, it's all a guess as far as we're concerned :-)

Seems some say it's the same, some say it's a blend...by taste if it's not the same it's darn close for sure to me.

Nope. It's on Moki's site and he knows everthing Fuente, just ask around or take a look around his site. :-) And it's actually commonly known, I thought. http://www.vitolas.net/displayimage.php?album=35&pos=0

I'm not going to debate the opinions this site vs. that site. Until AF says so, no one 'knows'. For every site you post that says one way I can post one that says the other. What's the point?

If you don't agree with the opinion that I stated, along with others, that's fine, everyone is entitled to their own of course.

Ok brudda but I'm telling ya, moki knows for sure. Just ask around the boards. lol

He has THE definitive site on rare Fuentes out there.

According to this, it says it is a maduro wrapper with same filler and binder as Opus X

Nice review, although I would agree with NCRadioman. Moki is the man as far as ANYTHING Fuente, he knows his S*$T!!!

Again nice review.
