General Discussion>Jr. Smacks Tim's (14holestogie) Balls!!

Tim bombed my sons and I golf balls a while back. However, as many of you know Jr. broke his back in early October. Tim asked me to send pics when Jr. was able to get back on the course. Well, on 8/11 he got that clearance and life being life I have not had the chance to get on the course with him. Yesterday Jr. and three of his friends went to play 18 for the first time since the vertebrae removal/replacement. He said he was a little sore but sore in a "good way". Thanks again for the golf balls Tim.

(Pics are phone camera quality, sorry.)

As info Jr. has skated twice (no contact for another year) since the 11th clearance and the smiles can't be put to words. He will return to Penn State the 23rd of this month to resume his schooling. He will work with the PSU Hockey Training staff to get his weight and strength back to where he was pre-fall.

Thank you all for your thoughts, prayers and support throughout this long process. It has helped all of us more than you will ever know.

Appreciate the pictures, Al.
Awesome. Good to see Jr's life getting back to something approaching normalcy. :-)

Thanks for the good news Al. It's nice to see someone on the mend and putting pain behind them. Being in a family forces you to watch the bad times come and blesses you with the chance to see bad times go and help loved ones get on with their lives!

I somehow missed the fact that he went to Penn State. I've always had a soft spot for PA teams, both college and pro, because I spent a few years up there as a kid. I'll be rooting for his return to the active roster! :-)
