This 5×50 stick made of extra maduro leaves brought a rich, thick mouth feel of typical maduro flavors. The draw was excellent with just the right amount of resistance for a smooth slow draw. The burn was very good with no issues all the way down, almost razor flat. The flavors were medium bodied and consistent all the way from beginning to end and were deep, earthy, woody, smooth, heavy flavors. The finish was fairly short and clean surprisingly! Total smoke time was about 2 hours to the nub, very impressive for a 5×50 stick. This was part of the Black Band Project and was stick C.

Nice review, though it's actually a 4.5x50.

Thanks for the type-o correction. Unfortunately I can't edit the thread anymore, or correct my mis-spelling of Camacho!! lol

Hey Bryan - I know you have smoked the CAO MX2 aswell. Which do you prefer?

The Mx2 hands down. It had a much more interesting flavor. The Camacho was good, but boring in comparison.

If you guys like the Camacho Triple Maduro...you'll LOVE the CAO MX3.

Yeah it does sound good - but I certainly only concentrate on sticks that are readily available and will be for some time.
