Hey guys,
Today I visited the Cornell and Diehl factory in Morganton. The people there are top notch and were VERY generous. I will post the all the stuff they gave later. If you are in the Morganton, NC area stop by and say hello and get a tour of the factory.
Betty who works in the front was super friendly, and thanks go out to Chris for showing me around the factory. I learned alot and am thankful they took the time to give little ole me a tour of the facility!
:-)
By the the fourth picture is bales of Cyprian Latakia.........yummy!!

Cool pics
:-)
Sounds like the trip and tour were awesome. The only thing that bothers me is that my Father tried to buy Cyprian Latakia in Cyprus but wasn't able to because they don't make it for themselves. They just export it. I couldn't believe it?!?!
:-)
Same goes for tobacco in Xanthi and Turkey. They showed him the factory there but no tobacco for sale in the area or from there.

I love their "Autum Evening" blend on a nice rainy/snowy/drizzly night, with a good book and tumbler of Gentleman Jack. I'm going to have to get there when I go back to NC.

When I stopped at a local tobacco warehouse on a hot summer day I almost floated off my feet. I HAD to ask. I'll bet C&D smelled better 'n Cinnabons at the mall.

Yes,
It was a great time. It just nice being near the people that make the stuff that I enjoy. It's the same in the factories in little Havana. Those involved love what they do; you can tell when you enter there.
