Congrats on the hole in one. Had my first and only back in 1983 on the 10th at the Parris Island golf course. Haven't been within a foot since.:-)

Congrats. I've come really close a handful of times, but that damn hole in one still eludes me.

It was 143 yards and I used a Callaway Big Bertha 5 iron, (obviously I'm not a big hitter). Pin was about 1/3 of the way onto a slightly right sloping green. The ball landed eight or ten yards onto the green and rolled about twelve feet into the cup, it looked like it had radar.
I carry a 22 handicap and regularly play with a guy who carries a 7, (he was with me). He has had two Aces and given the disparity in our games, I truthfully NEVER thought I would get one.
