Large 4th celebration at Patriots Point last night. Several bands, kiddy jump castles, tons of food and drinks, thousands and thousands of people, and one hell of a fireworks show! It's really hard to beat.

Patriots Point is home to:

USS Yorktown
USS Laffey
USS Clamagora
USCGC Ingham
Several memorials and lots of interesting material.

I got some pix's of this, a Russian training ship that came into Mass Maritime, it is the second largest schooner ship in the world, sister ship to the US Coast Guard Ship Eagle.
I was going to take the boat out and get some shots this morning but it was a little to ruff out.

I was fortunate to get to have dinner for work last year on the Yorktown. Not quite as festive as the fourth but a very nice setting and an interesting piece of history.
