All Cigar Discussion>What is Your Favorite Cigar Pairing?

I tend to like a milder cigar followed by a full bodied one.

Just smoked a Partagas #1 followed by a La Aurora Perferido Robusto. The Partagas started out smooth and creamy and built in a nice spice. The La Aurora is a full bodied spicy smoke that followed nicely to the Partagas.

What do you folks like?

My perfect pairing is full bodied cigar with a few shots of Drambuie.

Full to fuller is the best idea I've heard in a long time. That's thinking, Tom!! :-)

Looks like most like to go to a fuller cigar for the second. While this is also my preference, sometimes it is nice to smoke a real but kicker of a cigar and then go with something a little milder. That can be tricky because the fuller cigar my mask the flavors of the milder one.

I have smoked mild cigars with more flavor than full bodied cigars, so I go by whatever I feel like smoking at the time. I prefer strong cigars, but do not think I have ever smoked anything overly strong yet.

What cigars are considered to be the fullest around here?

If I am going to smoke two cigars in a row I will choose two mild. I don't want to feel nauseated from too much Vitamin N.

I tend to go with the way I'm feeling at the time... :-)

I enjoy coffee (Keynan, Sumtran, Columbian or most other dark roasts) with my cigars at home in the morning or at work.

In the evenings, out in the mini-mancave, I normally enjoy a dram or two of single malt scotch - especially Islay malts. :-)

Sometimes it is a matter of opinion or the situation you are smoking. Famous lists the strength of the cigars in their catalog and you can go by that somewhat.

The same cigar does not always kick my butt, here are a few that snuck up on me:

Juan Lopez Epicure #2
Pepin 601 Habano Oscuro La Punta
Trinidad Maduro Churchill
Griffin Fuerte Robusto
RP Cuban Bellicoso
LFD Double Ligergo Maduro
JDN Antano 1970Consul
Cohiba CC don't remember what it was it kicked my butt so bad!

These don't do it all the time but...

Here is a post of some other inmates opinions:
