No love for the NBA Draft?:-)

Glad to see my Pacers picking up an athlete. Some kid named Hansbrough. Any good?:-)

We could use a little good vibe. Since the "Brawl" we have been sliding downhill hard.

I think you got a quality player there. He will certainly help clean things up hopefully and he is a better player than many players taken before him.

I've watched Tyler in awe for 4 years - that guy has more heart than most teams have collectively. Billy Packer once said that there were 5 ACC players he would actually pay money to watch - David Thompson, Phil Ford, Ralph Sampson, Tyler Hansrough, and one other I can't recall at the moment, but it was NOT MJ, Worthy, Lenny Bias, Kenny Anderson, Larry Nance, or a ton of others you might guess (save one, of course). I really do not understand all the disrespect some NBA scouts and "experts" have dumped on this young man - all he's ever done is win, and it's mainly because he hates to lose.

I can see him being Kurt Rambis, Bill Laimbeer, Kevin McHale, Bobby Jones, etc. for the next 15 years, barring injury. He's the kind of guy every team needs.

I think this will motivate him to excel. Granger and him will be fun to watch next year.

Tyler's work ethic will drive him!! Good pick-up. What the hell was Minnesota thinking... taking all those guards??

Listening to their Pres of basketball ops on Mike asnd Mile trying to explain it. I still have no idea. With Curry still available...:-) Rubio is saying he may stay in Europe for two more years, so that may have come into play. Pick a guy for the present and have Rubio, who is supposed to be a helluva talent at 18yo, available when he comes to America.

Well, I think they traded Ty Lawson to Denver for "future considerations" - maybe lift tickets? - so that gives them only 2 new points. Plus Wayne Ellington has enough size and hops to play SF in some rotations, though he's better as a slasher SG.

Nothing notable as far as draft picks for Orlando but landing Vince Carter through trades might be the piece needed. Turk will be missed.

I don't think Tyler is that great of a player but he hustles more than anyone I think I have ever seen. For that reason alone, I think he will have a decent, long NBA career. Oh, and if keeps eating his peanut butter sammiches before games. I think that's what gives him those crazy eyes. :-)

Not sure what makes Psycho psycho, but hope he keeps eatin' it.

I had another thought about Lawson going to the Nuggets - can you just imagine him running with George Karl's offense? That should be fun to watch.

But I don't think Billips is gonna "give his job up" that easy...I see Lawson as a back-up PG.

Twelve years as a PG is a loooong time - Lawson could be the future, 'cause Billips can't keep going forever.

Yeah I was SUPER excited to see the Nuggs trade to get that pick and do something in the draft. With Billups at the helm, we needed someone for him to mentor and I think Lawson is that man!

Oh hell no he isn't and no way in hell is Lawson gonna get it until a few years down the line at the earliest IMO.

Very true, but Billups is still in his early thirties and I believe has several great years to come. I just hope the Nuggets can keep a great core and win a championship! :-)
