Judging from the stopping in part lots of people want to know about these cigars, and judging from the lack of response no one has pulled the trigger.

Well... FEAR NOT gentle BOTL's. I have taken it upon myself to procure myself a bundle of these mysterious cigars and review them! After the pre-requisite resting period of about three months, you too will discover whether these sticks deserve the label of "Famous Nicaraguan" or if these cigars are mere pretenders and shadows to the glorious tobbacconess called...the Famous Nicraguan 3000.

This thread will revive in three months time, like the proverbial Lazurus from the grave to expound upon you fine readers the final verdict and judgement upon this aforementoned cigars... So look for it, and as always.... STAY TUNED!

Oddly enough, I have never been able to find a no-name manufacturer capable of producing a cigar that knocks me out. They are usually bundled for a reason. NOW, I have found a ton of catalog writers who can make a bundle of Nic cigars SOUND like a Padron, but I have never gotten the taste without spending the money. I used to LOOK, too.

If I were stuck on a desert island with nothing else to smoke for as long as I lived. I believe that I would be happy with Famous Nic 3000's.

The selflessness of the members of this board inspires me. Members here are willing to give others the shirt off their back; nay, even put themselves in harms way for another member. For all we know the Famous Nic 4000 may be a Cremosa of Biblical proportions.

>>sniff<< It brings a tear to my eye. >>sniff<<

If the 4000 is somewhat close to the 3000 than it will be a good smoke. I had my first 3000 this week and it was outstanding. Still have one resting for another day :-)

Actually any of the Famous Nicaraguan anything cigars I have tried have all been OK to good. I have not tried them all, but that whole line so far has been good for me.

<aol> ME TOO! </aol>

A vote for the 4k from me. ONe of my favorite cigar boyfriends sent along several new ones to try, including the 4k, and according to my memory it was pretty close to a box fresh 3000. TMSAISTI.
