Smooth wrapper with 2 very light veins. Nice cedar and tobacco aroma prelight. It took a lot of pressure to clip this bad boy but the draw seems great.
First third - Initially a very smooth smoke with predominate flavors of tobacco and leather with some notes of cedar and toasted almonds. Great draw with lots of smoke. Despite it's shape it is burning very well. Also getting a small amount of sweetness on the palate.
Second third - Flavors staying consistent with the addition of a slightly woody taste. Very light peppery spice on the aftertaste with is also heavy with tobacco flavor. After the bulge the draw tightens up a bit. The peppery spice aftertaste continues to grow in intensity.
Final third - Still staying consistent in flavor of tobacco and leather. The aftertaste is still increasing in intensity with flavors of peppery spice and mocha.
Overall a decent cigar. Good burn and consistent flavors. I probably would not buy a box but it was an enjoyable afternoon smoke.

This pretty much sums up every NC Punch I've ever smoked. IMO everyone of them tastes the exact same.

I enjoy the occasional champ, but I haven't tried the Rare Corojo yet. I've got a couple resting for when I'm in the mood.
Nice review
