Your order ever ship Bao..?

I heard a bunch of these orders got canceled hinting at a price mistake.

Alas, no bluray, but I did pick up the regular dvd for 42 on amazon. Best mini series ever!

What a great mini-series...I have watched it all the way at least 3 times. Truly inspirational!

I got it last year for $35 from A&E in wide screen. My dvd player is an upscaler, not blu ray. I could not imagine that price quote of $30 for blu ray.

Amazon had it for like $42 for a week or so at least - kept thinking about buying it and then it was too late. Now it's 55

Just started watching this through Netflix. Trouble is, now we have to wait for disc 2.
Phenomenal series so far...

thinks this may be one of the good reasons to get a PS3, especially since they are 299 now.

Can get a good quality blu-ray for about 200 these days that will also upscale. PS3 does not do that - regular DVDs look like crap on it.

PS3 has had DVD upscaling since a firmware update in 2007. I read a few reviews that says it isn't as good as some stand-alone blu ray players...but it is good.

Not to mention being able to plug an external HDD into the ps3 and use it to play movie files and such that way.

People enjoy different platforms for games, so there will be differences of opinions there. But PS3 does upscale and I still think it is the most versatile blu ray player out, regardless of if you play games due to its ability to play almost any file type imaginable. Sure you can get a blu ray drive in your PC and use DVI (or probably HDMI on PCs now? I use Mac) on a flat screen TV....but is just a matter of opinion

Great series. I just wished that the Battlestar Galatica series on Blu-ray was priced like Band of Brothers.
