Yeh people always say beetle eggs will not hatch around 65F, although I have always wondered if that was true. I would think a beetle would be able to live just fine at 65F.

Something to keep in mind when going through the vinotemp.

This would be the first time I have heard something like this, so maybe it is possilby but not as common as at higher temperatures.

Had that cigar been in there a while or was it a recent addition (1-3 months)?

I had one problem with a beetle in my CCs last year. Found him alive, too! Squashed the little thief! Froze the sticks and no more problems. (Fingers crossed & Prayers sent!) Definitely try to check all my sticks at least 3X/ week, though!

Cigar had been in the Vino for probably 6-8 months.
Certainly not as common as the desktops in 80F environments, but clearly not 100% safe no matter what the temp.

When you see a close up like that it really hits home. That's some nasty $hit, thanks for the visual!
