I thought it was "cool" more than it was "good." Ben somehow manages to be the least interesting character in his own movie. The Hurricane Katrina tie-in was completely worthless and didn't do anything for the story. That's the screenwriter's style though; he's obsessed with making sure you've always got a very famous, specific landmark. ("Why, even Franklin Roosevelt was there!" and then the audience chuckles cuz hey, a Roosevelt look-alike showed up to a clock ceremony).
Whenever Brad Pitt has to pay attention to his mannerisms and voice, particularly any sort of accent (see Troy for a good example) he comes across as wooden.
Overall though, definitely watchable. The Irish tattoo artist was my favorite.
